New Years Resolutions.

I never really make New Years Resolutions, and I don't know why. I guess I realize I can never really stick with them. I think I want to make them this year though. I'm going to list them. Woo, here we go;


1. Loose my disgusting stomach fat.
2. DO NOT spend all of my paycheck at UO
3. Save up for a new ipod.
4. Get all A's third and fourth quarter.


I hope I can live up to that. When I think i've achieved one of my resolutions, i'll let you know. I also want to make this blog more interesting, but I don't know how. Does anyone have any suggestions? All of the 2 people that read this? If that. Lol.

I got this necklace for my birthday from my friend Lexi and I absolutely loveee it. It was on my wishlist for like 3 months. I'm so excited! Haha. Anyways, I'm still waiting for my new coat to arrive, it's taking too long! I also had drama for 5 hours today, ridiculous! The longest 5 hours of my life.

I hope everyone got everything they wanted. I got mostly everything I wanted. All of the things at Urban. I really wanted a new ipod, but whatever. Anyways, tomorrow i'm going to get a new Johnny Cupcakes t-shirt, and am going to Urban at Harvard Square because they're having a huge basement sale. I'm probably going to Lucky Brand Jeans as well on Newbury Street, because they're having a huge sale as well. I want to know what everyone got for Christmas, the whole 2 people that read this blog! If i'm lucky, lol. I ordered that plaid coat too, I hope it ships quickly. Merry Christmas!

Coats.

I think i'm getting this coat. It's from Urban Outfitters, obviously. It's kind of sad now, how I won't truely love any of my clothes unless they're from that store. Oh well, I guess it's just a phase. Anyways, it's on sale for $99.99 down from $138. My Mom is debating on pitching in $40, and my dad and I $30 each. I'm waiting on my mom's decision though. I really want it, it's so cute! I saw it in the store the other day, and I fell in love. It's only on sale online though, it's still full price in the store. Anyways, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. I was a little disapointed no one wished me a happy birthday though :(. Bye!

Finally 17!

Well i'm finally 17. It was such a fun birthday too! I worked first, ugh. Then I went to Urban Outfitters and got some really nice moccasins, some thermal shirts, a hoodie, and some mittens! Then, I came home and changed. I went out with my friends for the night. We went to this Chinese resturaunt, and some of my other friends were there to suprise me! It was really nice. Then Santa announces that it was my birthday, and the whole place starts singing Happy Birthday. It was so embarressing! Haha, we ate, then drove to Putnam Pantry, which is like an ice cream place. We had some sundaes, then I drove us home. We got lost, and were on the highway, at like 10 at night. We turned off of Route 1 by accident, and were on like Route 95. I was so scared! because I had to be home at 11. I was so nervous! Haha, we finally found our way, and I dropped off everyone, and got home safely. It was a fun night. And now we're getting another snow storm today! Merry Christmas!

Birthday!

Tomorrow is my 17th birthday! Haha, and I have to work. Love my life, obviously. Anyways, my Dad is taking me to Urban Outfitters after work, and I get to pick out a few things to get for a birthday present. I really want this shirt,this ring, and maybe these moccasins. I really hope I get something good though!

Anyways, it's currently blizzarding outside, and I got the day off from school. I want to go sledding! but it's kind of dangerous, I mean, it's REALLY snowing out. We just put up our Christmas tree, and it looks great! I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

So I haven't really boughten anything lately, but I did work yesterday! Haha, and since my birthday is in a week, my work bought me flowers and a chocolate cake! It was so nice! They also got me a card, and a Twilight poster! Hahah, anyways, how is everyone?

Sonia Kashuk for Target.

So I ventured over to Target today, to get the new Dark Knight movie on dvd, and only that movie. I ended up getting the Special Edition, little things for my brother, chocolate, and the Sonia Kashuk line for Target's eye shadow, Sonia Kashuk lip gloss, and Sonia Kashuk mascara. Honestly, I was only supposed to spend like $20, I ended up spending $60. Ugh, I hope my mom doesn't find out. Anyways, I just tested the make-up out, and it's absolutely fabulous! I love the way they apply, and are smooth, and easy. Great Line. I love it! Well worth the $30 I spent on all three.

Earrings.

So I have no school today, since it's like Mission Integration Day or something? I don't know, my school has off the weirdest days, since I got to a private catholic school. Anyways, I went into town yesterday by myself. I went into Urban Outfitters first, and got my friend Lexi this really nice gift. I can't say it on here, because she knows I have this blog, and if she reads it, and finds out what I got her, the element of suprise is ruined. Haha, so then I got myself the earrings to the right. They're just some drop earrings with sweet etched flowers at the front. They're really cute. Then I went into Victoria's Secret, and got my friend Gabby this necklace. I know she'll love it! Haha, then I got myself a free pair of panties with the Pink purchase, I was please. Then, I was kind of out of money, so I just went to CVS, and got gift bags, tissue paper, and a card for my friend Brittany. All I need is just a gift for my friend Marie. I already know what i'm getting her though, these booties. She told me she wanted them, so I though it was a nice gift. I'm ordering them at noon though, because this week on Urban Outfitters, the first 500 orders at noon, will get a free tote bag! Haha. Anyways, I already have a gift bag for the booties too. I just need to get my friend Adrienne a gift, and a bag, and i'm completely done. Enjoy the holidays!

Oh Fridays.

Well today was okay. School was boring, as usual. We're ready this story by Edgar Allen Poe in English, and man, does it put me to sleep. Anyways, after I left school angry from seeing my crush and his girlfriend holding hands, I got into my car with my friend Brittany. We drove to the train station, and took the train into Boston. I was there to buy Christmas gifts, but actually ended up buying myself things instead. I'm horrible. Anyways, I only got things at Urban. I got a new graphic t-shirt, I got a really nice pair of socks, I got a new pair of black flats, and the most comfortable Play by C.Ronson jeans in the history of the world. Best part? They were on sale for $9.99. Haha, i'm amazing. Anyways, then we got some gelato in Quincy Market, and went home. It was a fun night.

Johnny Cupcakes.

My dad came home from work with a little suprise today.

He brought home a Johnny Cupcakes giftbox, and I got all excited. I opened it, and it was those neat little gloves! I love them! They are a little longer than normally knit black gloves, and have the little cupcake and crossbones logo on the bottom of each glove. I love them! They are so cute! They are heavier than regular knitted gloves as well. He told me they were only $5.99, and they throw in a free pin. I was pumped! He also told me that Johnny Cupcakes himself sold my dad the gloves, isn't that awesome?! Haha, I wish I was there to meet him. Oh well, but I just wanted to update real quick. Hey everyone! I just got home from work, but I just wanted to post a picture, of my semi last night. Haha, that's me in my purple dress! with my friends Gabby and Stacey. I was kind of pissed the whole night, as I have already stated.

Ew, i'm so weird, but that's my crush, and his disgusting girlfriend. I mean come on, SHE'S NOT EVEN PRETTY! I hate my life.

Semi.

So, I went to Semi last night. It was okay. I was actually dizzy half the time from watching my crush and his ugly girlfriend dancing all night. It makes me sick to my stomach, seeing them together. It obviously wasn't a coincidence, that their table was right next to mine, when there were literally about 100 of them, since there was 500 people there. He was also dancing like right next to me the whole night, trying to get me jealous. It was working too, which is the worst part. I only said "hi" to him at the end, since he was too busy with fishface. I really refrain from swearing on here, since i'm not vile, and don't like doing it via internet, but, I HATE THAT FUCKING GIRL.

I'm sorry. I just really have anger issues, I wanted to tear her hair out the whole time. This is killing me.

I think i'm getting an idea though, when I saw this shirt. It's from Urban Outfitter's Urban Renewal line. It's really nice, and only $38. It's backordered untill December 5th though, so I'm telling my mom to order it now, so it'll ship as soon as they get more in. Other than this shirt, I just want a new pair of flats, a cardigan, a lomography camera, a nice blazer, maybe a new tote, a nice beret, and a nice bracelet I saw at Urban. I might throw in a new ipod. Yea, I think I will. Haha, Happy Turkey Day!

Well my week is done. I had school Monday and Tuesday, and today we got out at 11:45, so I just skipped. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and Friday is my Semi-Formal. I'm pretty excited.

Well I was, untill I found out my crush, that i've liked for over a year, has a girlfriend. Even worse, she's really ugly.

New Finds.

Hey Everyone!

How's it going? My week has been okay. I saw Twlight on Friday. I though it was SO good. I loved it, and Robert Pattinson is the sexiest man ever. Haha, I'm almost done with Eclipse, which is the third book is the saga. I just love the stories, they're so real, but so not. It's hard to explain. Once you start reading Twilight though, you're sucked in for sure.

Haha, anyways, I went to the mall last night to pick up a few things. I went to Forever21 and got my friend Britt a scarf, because it's her birthday today. I also got her a gift card to Charlotte Russe. I thought that was a nice gift. I also got myself a new pair of jeans and 2 v-neck shirts at F21 as well. Then I went to Charlotte Russe, and got Semi shoes. Since I didn't even have any yet, and the dance is on Friday. I also got this necklace and these bracelets to match. I still have to get her a card and such. Her party is at 3, so i'll right before. Lol. Anyways, I've been reading Eclipse all moring, so it's time for a shower. Oh, I got my straightner too! I don't think it works as well as everyone seems to claim it does. Maybe i'm doing something wrong? Haha, I don't know. Well untill another time;

Earliest fashion-related memory: I actually had really bad fashion-sense when I was younger. I was always into clothes, but never really cared about fashion. Let's just say I wore pajama's to school some days.


How would you describe your style?
Very urban chic. I live near the city, so I try to keep my wardrobe as modern as possible. I like to keep it simple, but I also like to dress it up a bit at times.


Who inspires your style? I love the Olsen twins' style, Kate Moss, Natasha Beddingfield, and Miley Cyrus (not going to lie).


When I'm not sure about an outfit, I ask myself: I wonder what my dad thinks about it. Let me go ask him.


High rise or low-rise? That's actually really tough. I love high-waisted jeans and pants, but when i'm feeling lazy, low-rise is my savior.


Flats or heels? Flats all the way.


Neckline preferences: V-necks, Scoop-necks, and Boat-Necks.


Shopping online or in stores? Both. I hate waiting for my order to come though.


Favorite place to shop and favorite stores there: I love Newbury Street in Boston. I love the Lucky Brand Jeans there, Urban Outfitters, H&M, and Johnny Cupcakes!


Beauty secrets? Bare Minerals. That stuff is magic.


What are some items you'd never part with? My Minnetonka Moccasin Booties, I love them. I also love my Forever 21 long black coat I have, and of course my Erin Fetherston black skinnies.


Got any big style regrets from the past? Haha, I'm really not that old, but my biggest mistakes were in middle school. I'd wear like the same thing everyday; pink sweatpants from Target, a blue, purple, pink and white striped turtleneck that was like, fuzzy, and my pink and black Volatile shoes. I was a mess.



What's missing in the way women dress today? Individuality.



Has your style changed over the years? Haha yes. I was really into the punk and skull scene when I was a little younger. Now, I really just like Urban Chic sort of clothing. Comfortable, but still really stylish at the same time.


How are fashion and art related? Fashion is art. Art is expressing yourself through paint, colors, memories, events. Fashion is expressing yourself through clothing, accessories, and shoes. They're very similiar. Owning an expensive painting or sculpture, to me, is like owning the latest Chanel flats. I can't get enough.

Ugh.

I got in my first fender-bender today. I am not happy, besides the fact that i'm on Eclipse, which is the third book in the Twilight Saga, and that I just had a Southern Style Chicken Sandwich from Mcdonalds'.

Twilight.

I just finished reading Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I got the book Friday, and have been reading non-stop all weekend. I actually finished it this morning. It's probably the best book i've ever read. It's such a romantic love story, and I love it. How I wish I knew someone even slightly comparable to Edward Cullen. Anyways, I drove to Target to get New Moon, the sequel. I'm already on page 160. I honestly can't get enough of Bella and Edward, although at the moment i'm mad because Edward had moved away, and left Bella behind. I wanted to cry, she was absolutley heartbroken. I highly recommend the series. It's amazing.

Booooots.

So, those boots that I really REALLY wanted, I got today, in Hunter Green. They're so nice, and so comfortable. I actually only paid $78, instead of $88 in the store. My dad was pleased. I then saw these rainboots under a display table. I really needed rainboots, since it's been raining like hell in Boston lately. I snatched up the black one's for $38. It was a good deal. Then those purple flats I posted about a while back, well I had to send them back, again. For a size 9? I'm an 8! Well the 9's got here today, and they finally fit well. Jesus.

Anyways, I'm so excited about my new boots! They're amazing. I have a field trip on Monday, to the Lowell Mills, maybe i'll get to wear them. I'm also reading Twilight right now. I got it yesterday at Target, since I heard it was incredibly good. I'm already half-way through it. I can't get enough of it. I think i'm going to get New Moon tomorrow, which is the sequel. I highly recommend the book. It's like addictive. Ugh, Edward Cullen <33.

Flat Irons.

Hello;

I was just catching up here, I haven't posted in a while. Anyways, my birthday is next month, and this straightner was an early present. I ordered it yesterday, because I really needed a new one. I had a Conair before, and it works horribly. I have really thick hair, and it didn't straighten it, at all. So I ordered this Sedu. I was hesistant on the Chi because I heard that they like, explode, or malfunction frequently. This was like $90, not that bad, and free shipping too! Haha, but I have to work today, and then i'm going to Urban Outfitters to get those boots that I really wanted that I posted in a previous entry. Why am I suddenly getting $90 boots? Because I got Honor Roll on my report card, and i'm in honors classes, which makes it even more difficult to get good grade. My dad was pleased.

Tuesday Finds.

Hey everyone! Happy Veteran's Day;



I had today off from school, so I decided to do the one thing I do best; shop. I started off in town, went to Second Time Around. I found nothing, then I went to a Vintage shop called The Closet, ew. Then I went to another shop, and found nothing. Then my dad drove me over to Brighton, and I went into a store called Urban Renewal. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck. All thier stuff was like glittery, and shiny. Hah, then I went to Marshalls, and was displeased. Next, I went to Filene's Basement, and found a really nice Michael Kors coat. It was a little small though, so we went to the Filene's Basement in town to see if they had my size. No Luck. My dad and I tried one last stop to see if they had it at the Filene's Basement in Saugus. They had it only in XL. I was so mad! Haha, then we went into Forever 21 to just look around. About 15 minutes later I walked out of there with the coat to the left, and 2 scarfs, which I cannot find online. I love it! It fits me like a glove, and is really warm. Then, my dad and I went to H&M, and looked around. I was starving, so we ate. We left, and went to Marshall's near my town. I found really nice wellies, for like $15. I tried on the 8, but it was HUGE! and they didn't have a 7. I was mad. After my disappointment, I left with a pair of really nice leather gloves, Betsey Johnson knee socks, and Betsey Johnson tights. I was fine after that. It's been a pretty good day.

Hey everyone!

How has your weekend been so far? Mine's been okay. I went out on Friday, and just drove around with some friends. Yesterday I had to work all day! Which sucks, and my dad lost his car keys. I had to walk home from the train station, 3 mile walk. Not fun. Today, I'm hopefully meeting my dad in town, and we're going to go to some vintage shops. I think we're going into Allston as well, and going to a vintage shop that's fairly new. I'm pretty excited. We were supposed to go yesterday, but once again, lost his car keys. Haha, anyways, I got these jeans to the right at Target last weekend. They fit great and are a good wash. They were only about $23. Really versatile. Can't wait to wear them!

Halloween!

Ok, so this is my costume for halloween. I have the same dress, except it has a sequined lining at the top of gold. My boa is red, as well as my headband. I also have 2 pearl necklaces and a pearl bracelet to match. I'm so excited for halloween!

Haha, my friends are being the same thing, except in pink and red. We'll be a site to see. I can't wait though. I love my costume! The dress fits me like a glove, it's perfect. It set me back $60, but hey, it's halloween! Haha, it's worth it.

Shoes.

These shoes came in the mail today. I ordered them a while ago, but they were way too small. I exchanged them for the next size up, and just received them. I'm so in love with them! The deep purple is amazing, and the crocheted leather is the perfect touch.

After I exchanged them, they went on sale as well. Yay! Haha, I hope my dress gets here soon.

Conclusion.

Hey! So i'm back from the mall; let me tell you, it was a rainy and windy drive. I just went into Forever21, I really didn't feel like going into Macy's. Anyways, I got this dress to the right. Doesn't it look hot pink? Well it isn't. It's acually a deep purple in person, which is why I love it. I was really aiming for a deep eggplant purple for semi this year. I was so determined! I finally gave up when I went into Forever 21 and picked up a cute black dress.

I tried it on, and was satisfied, then I turn and see this beauty with the same thing in teal behind it. I jumped for joy, since it was exactly the color I wanted, and tried it on immediatly. I purchased it along with this top. The tank is really sheer, and honestly looks 1000x better in person. If my decision to buy it was based off of the website, I wouldn't.

I saw it hanging on an upper rack though and fell in love. It's perfect with cardigans and some jeans. I'm so excited! It's also 100% silk, and dry clean only. Blah. It was also $25! Haha, that's okay, because I bought it with my mom's debit card. Shhhhhh! Lol.

The Mall.

Hey everyone! How was your Tuesday? Mine sucked, I failed a Physics quiz. God, I hate physics. Anyways, I'm shooting over to the mall in a few to try and find a semi-formal dress. I've been searching, but I can't really find anything. They have a Macy's and a Forever21 at my mall for dresses. I'll make another post to tell you what I bought. I'd love something in a deep purple color. Sigh.

School.

Hey everyone! Well, today I went to school, which was totally uneventful. Then, I shooted over to Target with my mother, and I was eyeing the clutches and handbags that Anya Hindmarch makes for Target. I absolutely love them.

I love this clutch to the right, it's sleek and modern, while still being completely versatile. It's pretty cheap too, about $20.

Blah, now i'm kind of regretting not picking it up while I was there. I guess I couldn't though, I spent my all my money on gasoline for the damn car! Crap.

Oh, and by the way, anyone that shops at Target as frequently as I do, the new Sigerson Morrison shoe line came in.

The booties you ask? Fabulous.

Bags.

Well, I must admit I am picky when it comes to bags. I hate incredibly small bags, and huge totes are completely unnecessary.
I was walking around Boston a week ago, and of course had to stop into the Urban Outfitters in Fanuiel Hall. I was really looking for a new bag. My old one was boring me, and I wanted something new and fresh. I went upstairs into the Sale section, where I usually find really good deals. I saw the bag as pictured to the left. It was perfect. It was available in Wine, Tan, and Black. I immediatly got the Wine.

It was on sale for $30 as well! It's a perfect size and made of sturdy material. I love the vintage look to it, and it holds all of my necessities very well. I carry it everywhere with me.

Bags are important to every girl! I might have a slight obsession with them as well as shoes. Then again, what girl doesn't?

Oh Urban-

Okay, so i'm a huge fan of Urban Outfitters, I basically live in their store, and love every single bit of clothing they've ever created. They seem to amaze me time after time, and I can't get enough of their collection.

Anyways, I am a contributor on their website, reviewing certain pieces and what-not, and I of course have a wishlist! Haha, so this dress had to be on my wishlist for at least 4 and a half months;

Isn't is adorable? I had wanted it for SO long. I just didn't have the money for it. I only work on Saturdays, and make $8.50 an hour, and have to pay my own car insurance. I wasn't exactly in a position to be paying $58 for a plaid dress.

Anyways, I was casually searching on their website, and as usual, clicked on the Sale section. On that first page, that Silence & Noise Exeter Plaid Shirtdress was on sale for $19.99. I almost jumped out of my seat. I raced for my mom's approval, and kind of forced her into saying "yes." I immediatly ordered it in the blue and white combination. I was so excited! I can't wait untill it arrives!

I then drove to Target while blasting Ne-Yo and purchased 2 pairs of opaque black tights(they were on sale for $4.99 each!) to pair the dress with. I picked up a caramel macchiato, and drove back home.

It's been a great day so far!
